We have a large amount of snow in the mountains that is melting, but the cold, drawn-out spring has lessened the impact by slowing the amount of water rushing down out of the mountains. Nevertheless, we are seeing some flooding in the lower areas.

May Has Been Cold But Nature is Resilient
Daffodils are always the first out of the starting gate.
Peach tree.
Baby pear tree.
Lots of tulips.
The peas, potatoes, and radish like it cold.
Lilacs!
Jonagold apple tree.
Black tulips are the last to come up.
They look almost purple when the flash is on.
Lilly of the valley.
Red Delicious apple tree.
The bees are helping.
Our crop duster is back. Got some closer shots this time.
Other colorful suprises.
Too big for the hummingbird feeder.
